Olmeca Altos Reposado is our most awarded tequila, achieving several medals at the most distinguished spirit competitions worldwide since its creation, including The Tequila Masters, The San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and Critics Challenge, Concours Mondial Bruxelles, and more. Olmeca Altos was created in 2009 by acclaimed UK bartenders Dre Masso and Henrey Besant and their partner Jesús Hernandez, who has been a Maestro Tequilero for over 17 years and is a native to Jalisco. Omeca Altos is crafted at the Destilería Colonial de Jalisco, from 100% Blue Weber agave, sourced from mineral-rich volcanic soil of the Los Altos region. These agaves are grown around 6,890 feet above sea level for 7-8 years before being harvested by the full-time dedicated Jimadors. Each agave plant can produce product around eight bottles of tequila. The aroma of the Olmeca Reposado presents sweet citrus notes of orange and grapefruit. Complementary notes of cooked agave vanilla are fruity and fresh with a woody aspect. The taste is packed with Robust, yet pleasant, with tannins and citrus notes, a long and well-balanced finish.
